Hi and welcome to Pyra Bio, Inc.
My name is Gouri (“Go-Ree”) Yogalingam. I’m originally from Kolkata, India, and grew up in New Zealand and Australia. I completed my BSc, majoring in Physiology and Pharmacology, and my PhD training in Lysosomal Storage Diseases at the University of Adelaide in South Australia. I have worked for over two decades in various parts of the USA as an academic and industry scientist, with experience in successful drug development, scientific leadership and project team leadership for neurological, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and oncology indications with high unmet medical need.
My accomplishments in drug discovery are a testament to the privilege of collaborating with extraordinary teams of scientists from across the globe, a rewarding experience I am fortunate to continue as a consultant.
I provide the following consulting services as a Translational Scientist remotely, or in-person in the San Francsico Bay Area:
Preclinical management and scientific leadership from exploratory to drug approval for CMC and PK/PD studies with biologics (AAV gene therapy, peptide, mAb, enzyme therapy) and small molecule therapeutics.
Scientific review of preclinical assets and guidance with asset expansion strategies.
Management and scientific leadership of strategic partnerships between Industry and CRO / academic labs to accelerate early-stage pipeline programs.
Scientific guidance and management of several aspects of preclinical cell biology studies, including target selection and validation, disease modeling and MoA.
Scientific writing (publications, grant writing, IND authoring and review).
I also provide support as a volunteer for non-profit organizations in the rare disease space, where I review grant proposals, and provide preclinical research guidance for regulatory compliant, preclinical drug development.
